A version of Astraware Crosswords with a selection of puzzles (and access to every daily and weekender puzzle) is bundled with the NOOK HD and HD+ models.
You can delete the game from your Nook, but as it is bundled for
free, each time you update your Nook's firmware it will be downloaded
and added again. To delete it for now, just tap and hold the icon, and
select 'uninstall' and it will be gone!
You may find it easier to sort your apps into 'shelves', that way you can put Crosswords
along with any other apps you don't use, into a separate shelf out of
the way. Crosswords itself takes up very little space on your Nook so
won't get in the way of anything else.
