Here's how to find the Unique ID in our games
The Unique ID is always located on the "About" screen for the game (usually a question mark icon on the title screen).
It will be located in a section saying Support
Your Unique ID will begin with an A and have three groups of three digits; We ask people to look for something that looks like A123-456-789
Because the ID is linked to the device (not the user), if you have more than one of our games, you will find the same ID in each. That's useful if you can't find it on one of the games!
Also if you have different devices, the ID for each will be different - so please tell us if you're quoting for your tablet but asking a question from within one of the games on your phone!
What if my Unique ID looks different?
If the game hasn't been able to contact our servers yet, it will still be showing the physical device ID ( which may be something much more complicated and harder to write down - perhaps more like A647G4DE72FABA39 - we can still use this but we made our own ID system to replace the longer codes with an easier-to-copy one. (We used three-groups-of-three digits because that's how many of us are used to telling people our phone numbers!)
I can't find the Unique ID!
Some of our older games, particularly those that were built before approximately 2012, don't have an ID in them that we show. If there's an update available, it's always worth doing that!
You may find that for some of our much simpler games (which don't have In-App-Purchases, Messages, or any kind of daily puzzles or online high scores) don't have an ID in their about screens.
I'm contacting from within the app itself - do I still need to quote the Unique ID?
If you're using either the feedback form built in to the game, or our more recent built-in-support system (called mobihelp) then you don't need to find and include the ID, as it is automatically included for you within the message, When we're looking at your support message, we can then see the ID easily if we need to send a message or do something specific for your device.
